Painter and art instructor Robert Gillespie organized dozens of volunteers to create a 10,000 square foot chalk painting depicting a historical photograph of the excursion steamship Wm. L. Halsey. This community event took place Saturday, July, 25 2009 in the parking lot of the First Presbyterian Church, Penn Yan, New York. |
